18+ years inside the U.S. revenue cycle

I started in healthcare operations auditing billing and coding interactions, first as an Operations Team Leader at TeleTech, then as a Quality Assurance Specialist at SPi Healthcare. That early work in root-cause analysis and calibration taught me that most accounts-receivable problems are process problems, and it shaped how I’ve approached revenue cycle ever since.

From quality I moved into operations leadership, first at Abacuz Global Solutions and then for twelve years at WRS Health as Medical Billing Manager. I managed the end-to-end revenue cycle for multi-specialty and behavioral health groups with multi-million-dollar monthly revenue: eligibility and benefits verification, coding, claims creation, rejections and denial management, payer follow-up, payment posting, and A/R. Along the way I worked inside a wide range of practice management and EHR systems.

Building offshore teams to a U.S. standard

Much of my career has been about building and leading teams remotely: hiring, training, calibrating, and holding offshore healthcare professionals to a U.S. standard of quality. Managing that work for years is what convinced me it could be done as its own business, done well, and that the difference between offshore billing that works and offshore billing that fails is almost never the talent. It’s how the work is set up, trained, and held accountable.

Why I founded RCM Staff

I founded RCM Staff because I kept seeing the same two realities at once: U.S. practices need dependable, experienced revenue cycle support and struggle to find it, and there is a deep pool of capable healthcare professionals in the Philippines who can provide that support at a high standard. RCM Staff connects the two through a staffing-as-a-service model: experienced billers, coders, and A/R specialists who work inside the client’s own systems rather than replacing their team.

The mission behind the company

The mission runs in both directions. For U.S. practices, billing companies, and RCM vendors, it’s about solving a staffing and revenue cycle problem with people who actually know the work. For the Philippines, it’s about creating strong, sustainable healthcare outsourcing careers, the kind where a biller can grow into a specialist, a lead, and a manager without leaving the profession. I want medical billing from the Philippines to be a serious, respected category, and that only happens if the careers behind it are serious too.

Standards and credentials

I hold the CPC, CPB, and CPPM certifications from AAPC, the CRCR from HFMA, and the CHBME from HBMA. The letters matter less than what they represent: doing this work against recognized professional standards, and expecting the same from the teams I build. You can see the full list on the credentials & professional standards page.

Technology as an operator’s tool

Alongside the operational work, I’ve invested in the technical side by earning AWS and CompTIA certifications and building small tools that remove manual steps from billing operations. I don’t think of healthcare operations and technology as separate; the best revenue cycle improvements usually come from understanding both.
